I am so thankful to the team here at Flourishing Lives Sensory System Clinic for the support for my son who is 10. I had struggled the last few years with him and not knowing how to help him. His school made him feel as if he were a child with behavior problems.
When in reality he is a child who like many is very misunderstood and penalized in school and or other settings because he does not respond and function like other children. And here at Flourishing Lives Sensory Clinic, they are showing me how to help him and he is learning how to manage and redirect and learn how to communicate what he needs at that moment.
I know this is just the beginning with him working with OT but after 3 weeks I have seen a real difference in how he thinks at times now before he does something not to mention he looks forward to his next visit every week with the ladies here at Flourishing Lives Sensory System Clinic in St. Claire Shores MI.

Flourishing Lives has been amazing for us! My 6 year old has made tremendous progress by doing OT here. All the therapists are well-trained and know their stuff and great with the kids. We love Ms Kim, Ms Janice, and Ms Lindsay! The admin staff is fantastic as well. Great communication from everyone. Highly recommend!!

Love the environment! My class and I had to opportunity to see how OTs work with the kids and it’s amazing to see the amount of different tools they have. Such a great place! And shout out to Jordan! She’s such an amazing person and so friendly :). Great place overall!

I attended the open house with my family to learn how Flourishing Lives could help my son. While I was there, I talked with Sheena, Janice, and Cara extensively about all of the amazing services they offer for their clients, how what they do will help, and the research behind what they do. We were so impressed that we started the process right away! Lindsay did the evaluation and did a wonderful job explaining what areas needed to be worked on and how they will cater his treatment plan to meet his needs. They offer craniosacral therapy there and it has been a game changer for my son’s anxiety. He is able to calm down, sleep better, and overall improves his mood. He will even ask for it because he knows it helps! I highly recommend Flourishing Lives for your family.

As a former student at Flourishing Lives, I have learned so much from all the therapists especially Cara and Janie. They truly care about ensuring their patients recieve the best care. Grateful to have learned from such wonderful and inspiring individuals!

The team at Flourishing Lives is amazing. Our experience has been absolutely life changing for our son. He is building his abilities to calm himself down, to tolerate uncomfortable feelings, plan his next move, as well as work on trying new foods. We love the team and are so grateful for the care.

Our daughter has been attending OT at Flourishing Lives for several months. We have seen major improvements in emotional regulation and overall behavior at home. She looks forward to her sessions and loves all of her therapists. Everyone is very patient and attentive! They also provide a lot of helpful ideas and resources.
