Morgan Jagiela

(OTD, OTR/L)

Morgan is an occupational therapist who started her journey at Flourishing Lives in November 2024. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2021 with a B.S. degree in Psychology, and a minor in Human Behavior and Social Services. She received her doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in 2024.

Morgan is passionate about helping kids play and have fun, while they develop the tools and skills to be successful in their everyday life. She believes that growth and learning is fostered by the ability to have fun and feel safe, prompting Morgan to become certified in SSP to help kids regulate and enter a neurologic state that is capable of learning. She also has vast experience in mental health and trauma-informed care, which allows her to view each and every child with a unique and purposeful lens.

Morgan’s favorite part about being an occupational therapist is that she gets to have fun, play, and be goofy too! By getting on a child’s level, she is able to instill confidence and self-efficacy in them, helping to improve motivation and a desire to learn and play. She loves to watch kids thrive and become their best selves.

Outside of the OT world, Morgan loves to be in or on the water, whether it be boating, swimming, or scuba diving. Morgan also loves to travel and so far has visited 15 countries. She also spends her time reading, walking her dog, watching sports with friends and family, and cooking.
