Maya Pierce

Maya is on the pathway to completing her Bachelor’s of Science degree in April 2025 from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Maya has chosen to pursue her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist and has begun the application process in order to get her Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. Maya is inspired by the Occupational Therapists here and the positive changes they have created in their patients’ lives and their families’ lives.
When Maya is not at the clinic, you can find her teaching dance to young children at a local dance studio. You can also find her spending quality time with her family and friends when she is not studying for school. She typically loves spending time with her family on a beach in Port Hope, MI where she loves watching the sunset.
