Mindy Hendrickson

Mindy Hendrickson

(COTA/L)

Mindy is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Preschool. She studied at Baker College of Allen Park, where she earned Dean’s List recognition.

She brings a diverse background in occupational therapy, including experience in the skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting working with rehabilitation and geriatric populations. She currently serves as a PRN COTA and is passionate about helping individuals build independence and achieve their personal goals.

In addition to her clinical experience, Mindy has spent the past six years working in daycare settings while raising her own children. This has provided her with valuable insight into early childhood development across a variety of ages and environments. Her connection to the mission of Flourishing Lives is also personal—she previously experienced the clinic as a parent for her oldest son and saw firsthand the impact of services.

Mindy enjoys building meaningful relationships with the children and families she works with and values the opportunity to both share her own journey and learn from others.

Outside of work, she has been married to her husband, Harley, for seven years and is a proud mom of two boys, with another on the way. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and photography, which she also pursues as a side passion.
