Alyssa Guyett

Alyssa earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from Macomb Community College in 2014. Since then, she has gained extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings. Building on her clinical foundation, she pursued further specialization in Health Information Technology to integrate her patient care expertise with a solid understanding of healthcare systems and data management.
In May 2025, Alyssa completed a second Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology, also from Macomb Community College. She went on to earn her Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification in July 2025.
Alyssa’s dual expertise in Occupational Therapy and Health Information Technology enhances her work at Flourishing Lives, where she is dedicated to helping children achieve their developmental goals, a part of her work she finds especially meaningful and rewarding.
