Danielle Teschke
(OTD, OTR/L)
Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University and began her career working with marine mammals before discovering her passion for occupational therapy. She graduated from Macomb Community College in 2017 as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and has since gained extensive experience in the hospital setting. In 2025, she completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Hanover College. During her doctoral training, she completed a fieldwork rotation at Flourishing Lives, where she saw firsthand the meaningful impact occupational therapy can have on children and their families.
Danielle’s professional interests also include maternal health and pelvic floor therapy, and she is a certified Functional Pelvic Health Practitioner. She is passionate about helping individuals and families thrive through every stage of life and looks forward to supporting children as they build the skills and confidence needed to flourish in their daily routines.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys, especially boating on Lake St. Clair with family and friends. A lifelong figure skater, she has competed nationally in synchronized skating and theatre on ice and also skated for Michigan State University. When she’s not on the ice or the water, she can often be found walking with “Goose” her Labrador retriever, getting ice cream with her boys, or cheering on the Spartans at football games.
