Nicole Kelly

(Lead Speech Pathologist,
MA. CCC-SLP)

Nicole’s journey as a speech-language pathologist began with her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University, followed by earning her Master’s degree at Wayne State University. Nicole is NLA trained clinician throughout the Meaningful Speech Course and a PROMPT trained clinician through the PROMPT Institute.

Over the years, she has developed specialized expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), autism, gestalt language processing, and apraxia. She approaches her work with a firm belief in neurodiversity-affirming practices, prioritizing connection over compliance, and that all play is okay. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive and grow at their own pace.

When she is not working, Nicole enjoys reading, rollerblading, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is deeply committed to fostering meaningful connections to support communication and celebrating the unique strengths of every individual she works with.
